Creating a Positive Impact is About Doing the Right Things

Growing up in rural New Hampshire, I developed a deep connection to the natural beauty around me. After moving to the Pacific Northwest and raising my family in a place where the great outdoors was our backyard, my roots were grounded in playing a role in protecting the environment. I continued my career in an industry focused on the sustainable use and management of our planet's most precious resources: energy and water. I joined a company that shares this passion—4Liberty, where we are committed to sustainable practices.

At 4Liberty, sustainability isn't just a trend; it's central to everything we do. In support of Environmental Awareness Month and as part of our ongoing commitment to a healthier planet and stronger communities, we launched #4LGreenMonth. Through this initiative, we’ll share how our sustainable practices shape our daily operations. From reducing our carbon footprint to prioritizing the well-being of our employees and the communities we serve, we’re dedicated to integrating environmental, health, and safety considerations into every aspect of our management system. This commitment goes beyond this month—it’s a reflection of our core values and our promise to drive positive change.

At 4Liberty, we prioritize environmental stewardship, employee health, and community well-being through systems designed to reduce our carbon footprint.

Here are some of our key initiatives:

• Carbon Footprint Reduction: Our Kearny Mesa facility features a 238KW solar panel system, generating 53,009 KWh annually, reducing both energy costs and emissions. We also use smart building automation to efficiently manage HVAC systems.

• Transportation Efficiency: We operate a fleet of high-efficiency vehicles and support remote work policies, cutting fuel consumption and emissions.

• Resource Efficiency: We've implemented LED lighting and strict recycling and composting protocols to minimize waste and energy use.

• Community Giving & Service: We collaborate with local partners and charities, volunteering our time to help our communities thrive.

These efforts reflect our dedication to sustainability, not just as a goal, but as a company-wide value that benefits both the planet and our community. Perhaps most importantly, we do these things because they are the right things to do.
